Reading of Mission Statement and Approval of Minutes

The Mission Statement was read aloud at the beginning of the meeting. Minutes from the previous meeting were read aloud and approved.

VICE PRESIDENT'S REPORT

Intern. Pam has taken over being Morgan's supervisor, and is being much more stern, structured and demanding than Bob has been in the past. Fortunately, this seems to be working. The Board instructed Pam to let Morgan know that she must have her rent paid in full prior to the end of January, or else she will have to move out of the Garage apartment. Morgan will be responsible for marketing the upcoming Career workshop through posting notices on the web and calling people who have expressed interest in career testing in the past.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S REPORT

Intern. Bob said he thinks Pam's doing a great job as Morgan's supervisor, and he's very grateful. Morgan has been given an eviction notice as of the end of January, with the stipulation that the eviction is void if her rent is current by the 31st.

Online Banking. Bob reminded the Board that they had authorized him by phone on December 10th to have online access to our savings account.

Finances. Our credit score via Dun and Bradstreet are getting better. Also, we partially paid off one credit card and transferred the rest to a 0% interest credit card, thus saving $550 total. Bingo during the second part of this year has not very good. However, Bob's practice has been going quite well, thus partially offsetting the reduced income from bingo.

Members-only Events. Bob suggested that we establish a policy that if a member wants to bring a friend to a members-only event, we change it from a $10 fee to a $10 donation. It was unanimously

RESOLVED, that if a member wants to bring a friend to a members-only event, we will ask for a $10 donation, rather than requiring a payment of $10.

Habibi's Hutch. Habibi's Hutch bought the houses across the street, and they are interested in buying the bus. Yay!

Volunteer Help. Colleen is doing great with data entry.

Since there was no further business, the meeting adjourned at 3:05 pm.
